The Redd Rose B&B original structure was built in the 1850''s and is situated on a 3.24 acre lot consisting of wooded area, groomed lawn and flower beds. Come and relax and enjoy the Lake Country with its many attractions and our Country B&B. Walk our expansive grounds, enjoy bird watching, explore our early America barn with its hand hewed beams, relax with a book or just layback and enjoy our early America home.
The country setting affords the casual visitor a view they will long remember.The traveler will have a choice of attractions to experience in the region. The Redd Rose is located on the westside of Skaneateles Lake, minutes from the Village of Skaneateles and Auburn which features fine shops, excellent dining, dinner cruises on the lake, summer concerts and theater, antique and quilt shops. This part of the Finger Lakes area also offers lake fishing and boating, estate wineries, apple country, autumn foliage, biking routes, and is within driving distance to Syracuse University and other colleges in the area.
The Redd Rose is also the home of JWTrout Guide Service. There are ample opportunities in Central NY for fly fishing for trout; Skaneateles Lake, Lake Ontario Tribs., Central NY & Catskill Mt. Streams. JWTrout provides fly fishing classes for the people new or just beginnig to fly fish. |
