It is that time of year again to register for the 2010 Economic Outlook Seminar. As you know, the Bureau of Business and Economic Research’s annual Economic Outlook Seminar is an excellent opportunity to learn about the Montana economy, network with other business professionals in your area and obtain your professional licensure credits.
The featured speaker will be Dr. Wendy Stock, Department Head and Professor of Economics at Montana State University. Wendy has published numerous research articles, presented her work at various locations across the United States and holds several research and teaching awards.
ECONOMIC RECOVERY: As we move towards economic recovery, we will examine what lies ahead for the men and women workers of our state. Bureau economists will provide current information on the recession, economic recovery, and what it means for Montana’s economic outlook. As in the past, other experts will examine recent trends and the outlook for Montana’s important industries such as agriculture, forest products, non-resident travel, health care, and manufacturing. Our luncheon program will feature a speaker from Montana Kids Count.
The seminar starts at 8 a.m. and ends after the luncheon at about 1:00 p.m.
