Web Project Process
Steps in the Process
The Project Process steps outlined here begin after your data has been converted into our systems in the Data Conversion Process. You will then move into the Web Design or Web Integration Phase where your database will be connected to your website through the web module pages. Steps and timelines may shift slightly based on how we can provide the best service to our customers.
Web Integration

- Integration Specialist is assigned to the project
- Integration Plan is put together and sent to Chamber for approval
- Any changes needed are sent back to the Project Manager
- Adjustments are made to the Integration Plan
- ChamberMaster Web modules are integrated into the Chamber site
- Chamber reviews site
- Website Integration is complete
Web Design

- Chamber fills out Page Outline and Web Planner (including which layout they prefer) and returns documents to the Project Manager along with website content and collateral provided to the Project Manager via Dropbox
- ChamberMaster sets up the test link with the layout and assigns a designer to the project
- ChamberMaster provides a project timeline to the Chamber
- Development or 'Build' Phase
- Website test link is built by ChamberMaster using the provided materials and Web Planner
- Test link is sent to Chamber for review/changes/approval of website

- Project Manager prepares the site to launch, sends site link to the designer for prelaunch testing and sets up accounts necessary for the launch process
- Project Manager creates account in Google Analytics and installs code in the CMS account
- Project Manager oversees the website launch and contacts the Chamber once the new site is live
- Project Manager assigns post launch testing to the designer once site has fully propagated
Timeline Example for an Established Layout:
Day 1 | Initial contact – Webplanner, Page Outline and instructions provided |
Day 14 | Webplanner and Page Outline returned to Project Manager along with content for the initial build, Timeline provided to Chamber |
Day 28 | Test link sent to Chamber for review |
Day 35 | Chamber submits changes back to Project Manager |
Day 42 | Changes done and test link resubmitted to Chamber for review |
Day 49 | Website test link approved, CMS access passed on to Chamber |
Day 56 | Launch Day set |
Day 63 | Website successfully launched and new site is live |
This Timeline example is a basic outline of the project steps. Dates may adjust based on the Chamber’s response times to requests and training which can vary the speed of the project. Keeping in sync with the schedule is optimal for accurate delivery times.
